I believe I was a performer from a very young age. I had a tendency to gravitate towards public speaking opportunities and events that centered around performance (piano/band). My first theatrical show ever was in second grade, Temples and Tombs, but I did not revisit full theatrical performance until middle school and then I never looked back. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures from that period of time, so as a substitute, please enjoy pictures from early high school productions.

I'm passionate about telling important stories. Many people ask why I studied both musical theatre and political science in undergrad, it's because I believe politics to be at the center of the work we do as theatre artists. It's important to understand where we have been, where we are going, and be aware of what's happening in the world around us in order to tell stories that resonate with audiences. I think theatre has the unique ability to allow audiences to see things from different perspectives, to teach them something about other people, about the world around them. That is one of the things that made me fall in love with theatre.

While many students going to school for theatre fill their summers with theatrical ventures, mainly summer stock, I had a bit of a different experience. I double majored and double minored throughout undergrad and found a way to lighten a bit of my course load over the semester was to participate in summer study abroad programs. I was fortunate enough to study abroad in England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Spain throughout my time in school. I gained new perspectives, new experiences, and new friends - all things I believe enhance my acting career today.

I choose to wear a mask when I feel the circumstances/environment call for it.

I understand performing is a non-masked endeavor.

I see wearing a mask in my personal life as an extension of my commitment to a production. I feel this is an action I can take to keep myself as healthy as possible so I can show up fully.

I've also discovered a mask can be a great fashion accessory (ask my friends, I like to match).

I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and have received all necessary boosters.

Hmm...I wonder...

I am a weather nerd. Anything having to do with thunderstorms and tornadoes, I'm there. I spent much of my time during high school researching weather patterns and everything to do with tornadoes. Don't most kids watch The Weather Channel for fun? I have converted this skill into being the personal meteorologist for many of my close friends and family.

While March-July is my most active weather nerd season due to the greater frequency of thunderstorms and tornadoes, the winter holds special anomalies that are equally fascinating.
